hello all! our first meeting at stoneybrook west country club went very well. the space in which to run around and play crazy games and hang out is perfect for us! please remember if it is your turn to bring snacks, everything must be in a pre-packaged form (nothing homemade). this week it's the NETZORGS' turn to bring snack, and the following monday will be the OLDHAMS' turn.

jason: pray for his sister's decisions regarding staying out late and taking care of her kids
hannah: pray for an unspoken prayer about one of her friends; report cards; a friend at school whose cousin has stomach cancer and just had a baby
sara: pray for her brother and sister - steph and josh - returning to college; lung transplant for eric; her dad traveling to oklahoma for schooling to become a supervisor at his workplace
becky: pray for help with grades
liz: pray for her lacrosse training and for patience in learning the new sport

as for our bible memorization, we are continuing in psalm 1. you will need to say the previous two verses from last week, psalm 1:1-2, and add this week's, psalm 1:3-4:
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
